It happened early Wednesday morning on South 88th Avenue in Orland Park. The victim was walking with another pedestrian when she was hit, thrown up onto the windshield and severely injured.
Police say the vehicle was a 1997 or 1998 Dodge Dakota pickup. It had an object protruding from the tailgate and passenger side and windshield damage.
No information has been released about the condition of the victim.
