FBI investigates West Dundee bank robbery

January 4, 2011 (WEST DUNDEE, Ill.)

Police said a black male entered a TCF Bank branch located inside the Jewel Food Store at 1250 W. Main St.

He reportedly approached the counter and gave the teller a note announcing a bank robbery.

Police said the suspect fled the bank on foot after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash.

No weapons were observed and no injuries were reported, police said.

The suspect is described as being in his late 20s or early 30s, and is 6 feet to 6 feet 3 inches. He also has a stocky build and was wearing gloves, police said.
