Police tell the (Arlington Heights) Daily Herald that Samuel Lee has lived in Naperville and Chicago, but was believed to have been living with a friend in Arlington Heights at the time of the burglaries.
Police say they arrested Lee Sunday after receiving a report that two vehicles had been ransacked. They say Lee was found nearby with two GPS units and a camera.
Investigators say the burglar entered unlocked vehicles and took items that can be easily sold for cash. The burglaries occurred between June and Jan. 2.
Lee is facing four felony counts of burglary to a motor vehicle. Police did not say whether he had an attorney.
