No deal after Daley, airline execs meet in DC

The airlines have sued to try to stop the city from issuing bonds for construction of new runways.

United and American say right now there is no need for additional runways. The airlines called the talks constructive but said they are going ahead with their lawsuit.

The mayor released a statement saying the expansion project is important to Chicago and he hopes a solution can be reached that will benefit everyone.
