Gas prices shoot up in Chicago, nation

The crisis in Libya is contributing to soaring gas prices in this country.

If you drive in Chicago and filled up your gas tank recently, chances are you've seen gas prices near or above $4 a gallon.

That's considerably more than around the country but AAA says the national average is climbing quickly.

It hit $3.50 a gallon for regular gas Saturday, an increase of 3 cents in one day.
