Chester Czernwinski, 59, is being held on $500,000 bond.
Czernwinski was charged with financial exploitation of the disabled and two felony counts of theft.
He gained power of attorney over his 91-year-old aunt in 2005.
Authorities allege he cashed in her assets and sold her home, then used the money for a $53,000 car, vacation for eight to Texas and his son's $30,000 wedding.
Czernwinski controlled her finances until her death in 2008.
It wasn't immediately clear whether Czernwinski has an attorney.
