ComEd: 13,000 still without power

The utility expects everyone will have electricity restored by midnight Friday.

ComEd says Tuesday's storm ranks in the top four of all time in terms of damage.

At 4 p.m. on Friday, ComEd said that about 13,000 customers were still without power. About 11,000 of those customers are in the northern suburbs.

At the height of the storm, an estimated 440,000 customers were without power.

ComEd has replaced more than 100,000 transformers and over 80 poles.
