Study: Just 1 drink increases chances of car crash

As a result , scientists say drinking even a single glass of beer or wine can raise blood-alcohol concentrations enough to increase the chances of being seriously injured or dying in a crash.

Researchers found having a blood alcohol content of just 0.01% -- which is much lower than the legal limit -- increased the chances of being in a serious crash.

The study determined no amount of alcohol seemed to be safe for driving.
