Destiny Cartwright is facing heart surgery.
Cartwright told the Make-A-Wish Foundation all she wanted was a room of her own. She had been sharing a room with her two brothers.
But the foundation doesn't do additions, so the Plymouth Kiwanis club stepped in to help out. They built the addition, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation decorated Cartwright's new pink bedroom.
