Waukegan airport, planes damaged

Strong winds and heavy rains damaged aircraft and a hangar in north suburban Waukegan, Monday morning, July 11, 2011.

Monday's storm damaged planes and buildings at the north suburban Waukegan airport.

Chopper7HD flew over the scene and spotted at least two planes that were flipped over.

Another plane was inside a small hangar that collapsed.

There was no word of any injuries at the Waukegan airport.

A short distance away, a section of roof was peeled away from an an apartment complex building.

There were no reports of any injuries there, as well.
