On Thursday, authorities found 45-year-old Peter Boulahanis inside his car, which was parked sideways in an intersection outside LaPorte. He had difficulty standing and speaking.
Boulahanis told medics he is diabetic. However, a blood-test showed his sugar levels were normal.
Boulahanis was taken to a hospital where he registered a blood-alcohol concentration of 0.354, more than four times the legal limit.
