Three teens are being held on $1 million bond each in connection with the beating death of a man at a South Side bus stop.

Police say 17-year-old Donnte Kindle, 18-year-old Jabril Garner and 18-year-old Antoine Ward approached the man at 79th Street and Greenwood Avenue early Sunday morning.

One of the teens apparently asked Darnell Chambers if he could use his cell phone. When Chambers refused, investigators say the teens began beating him.

Kindle and Gardner are charged with first-degree murder. Ward is also charged with robbery.
