We would like to recognize Lauren Lawson, a 22-year-old woman from Oswego. Lawson is also known as "the girl with the white board." You may have spotted her on Michigan Avenue holding her board with inspirational messages.
Lawson's college friend, Rich Fisher, brought her to our attention. He says Lauren just wants to have a positive impact on people's lives and provide words of encouragement. Lawson started this right here in Chicago, but she wants to inspire people across the country, and eventually the world.
