Sarah Landicho wanted to share Cahill's story. She says Cahill is a wonderful teacher who started an "adopt-a-kid for Christmas" program four years ago, so her 20 students could have a happy holiday.
Now, that program, with the help of Cahill's friends, family and supporters, has grown to help three classrooms at the school. Some of the gifts are essential items, like coats, boots, gloves and shoes, as well as toys, of course.
Landicho says Cahill believes in her students and does everything she can to help them. The students, in turn, realize the community cares.
