Spanking may lead to slower development, mental issues

Spanking your children could lead to problems later in life, according to an article published in the Canadian Medical Association Journal.

Researchers analyzed several studies on the topic and found those who were physically punished had more mental health disorders and slower cognitive development. Researchers say the findings show that parents should find more constructive ways to discipline their children.
