General Petraeus to lead Memorial Day Parade

General Petraeus (U.S. Army, Retired served as the commander of the U.S. forces in Afghanistan from July 2010 to July 2011 during his 37-year military career.

Chicago's Memorial Day event begins at 11 a.m. with a wreath laying ceremony at the Eternal Flame on Daley Plaza, located at Dearborn and Washington streets. The parade steps off at noon at State and Lake streets and heads south on Lake to Van Buren. Get parade details at explorechicago.org

ABC7 will broadcast coverage of the parade on Sunday, May 27 from 4p.m. to 5p.m.
