Army Specialist Kyle Drew is home after spending six months in Afghanistan.
"Then you guys all show up and it's like, you know, it does mean something," Drew said. "It means a lot to us that you're out there."
While he was deployed, drew was promoted twice.
Drew graduated from Naperville Central High School in 2009.
While deployed, he was also awarded two badges and a certification.
And Eric Rezac of Warrenville also returned home today.
Rezac spent the past nine months serving in Afghanistan.
Rezac received several awards while he was deployed, including the combat infantry badge.
His service to the army will end in December.
