The concern is cancer patients being turned away from local oncology clinics may seek care at hospitals which will more likely be more expensive.
It's still unclear whether hospitals have the capacity to absorb these patients.
According to two major national cancer organizations, the government does have the authority to make Medicare chemotherapy treatments an exception to these cuts.
