Sixty-two-year-old Jerry Graf has been on dialysis for years and was desperate to find a donor.
Amy Pitrowski saw Graf's billboard and decided to pursue her own wish to give the gift of life.
After meeting and confirmation that they were a match, Pitrowski decided to donate the kidney to Graf.
"You can't put into words how grateful you are and thank you by no means covers the way we feel about her," said Graf. "For her to do this for us, it's amazing, it's just amazing."
"He'll get to see his granddaughter grow up," said Pitrowski. "We can't guarantee how long that it's going to be that he's with my kidney, but it's more of a better outcome than what he has right now."
