Niles North security director charged with stealing school supplies

September 10, 2013 (NILES, Ill.)

James DiJohn, 56, is charged with one count of felony theft.

Authorities say that over a period of time, DiJohn acquired numerous pieces of electronic equipment from School District 219. These items included portable radios, earpieces, chargers and radio accessories. DiJohn reportedly sold some of the equipment via his personal eBay account.

Additional charges are pending. DiJohn will be in court next Tuesday.
