The woman, who wishes to be identified by only her first name, Nicole, says her family was participating in the family swim at the Two Rivers YMCA when she got out of the pool to breastfeed her daughter.
Shortly after finishing, she says a male lifeguard approached her and told her she was not allowed to breastfeed at the facility. Nicole says she had breastfed at the facility prior to the incident.
Officials at the YMCA say they have a designated area for breastfeeding mothers.
