Permanent memorial planned for fatal Roselawn, Ind. crash

October 31, 2013 (ROSELAWN, Ind.)

In 1994 an American Eagle flight from Indianapolis to Chicago crashed into a field near Roselawn, Indiana.

The cause was icing on the wings.

All 68 people on board were killed.

The plane was a twin engine turboprop commuter aircraft.

By next year the families hope to have constructed a memorial to their loved ones.

They're raising funds for the cost of construction and maintenance.
