Christmas tree recycling locations in Chicago

The city of Chicago is setting up tree recycling at nearly two dozen locations across the city, but you'll have to hold on to it for another week or so.

Recycling doesn't begin until Saturday, January 4, and continues through January 18.

Once all ornaments and lights are removed, the trees can be dropped off inside tree corrals set up at all 23 park district locations.

They'll be reduced to mulch.
