Jimmy Palmer charged after taking kids off school bus in DuPage County

January 10, 2014 (WEST CHICAGO, Ill.) DuPage County Sheriff John Zaruba says Jimmy Palmer was driving a car when he cut in front of the school bus driver, who was on a regular route dropping off students around 4 p.m. Thursday. There was a minor accident between the bus and vehicle, but no children were injured. Officials say that's when Palmer forced his way on the bus and removed the two students. Palmer is charged with aggravated assault, criminal trespass to a motor vehicle, reckless driving and endangering the health or life of a child. He's also charged with driving too fast for conditions. He made bond and was released from the DuPage County Jail.
