Fines possible for drinking at S. Side Irish Parade

It's not the price of a beer. It's the fine Chicago police could charge anyone they see drinking one.

The fine is one of several strict measures police plan to use to keep crowds under control at the South Side Irish Parade Sunday and the Saint Pat's Parade on March 15.

Police will also be cracking down on drivers who park in front of driveways or fire hydrants and anyone not using seat belts.
