Boy killed walking under semi

CHICAGO It happened Thursday along Cicero Avenue near Van Buren. Ten-year-old Malick Brown was apparently trying to cross the street when he went under the trailer along with two other young boys.

The other two made it through. But Brown was run over and killed when the truck started to move.

The driver of the truck was not cited

A Chicago Police spokesman, Officer John Mirabelli says the boy was struck by the trailer wheels.

The victim was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead several hours later.
