Three 18-year-olds shot fatally in Maywood

MAYWOOD, Ill. Early Saturday morning, police were called to 19th and Harrison about reports of gunshots. There they found 18-year-olds Kent Flowers, Oscar Pritchett and Devin Stokes. They had been sitting in a car when someone opened fire. All three were taken to the hospital where they died.

Devin Stokes had a scholarship to attend Northeastern Illinois University. His mother is asking the gunman to come forward.

"You cut my son down when he was in the prime of his life, and he never hurt nobody. You know what? I'm not going to hate you. I'm going to pray for you. And I pray that you will turn yourself in and do the right thing," she said.

One other man who was with the victims was also injured.
