Rencher gets 42-year sentence

CHICAGO Randy Rencher was convicted back in June. He has been in federal custody since his 2006 robbery spree. It ended when he surrendered to the FBI in Ohio.

Rencher is facing another trial. He's charged with taking a busload of federal prisoner's hostage during another escape attempt in February.
