1/2 pound melted unsalted butter
3/4 cup Powdered Sugar
2 cups sifted flour
Stir powdered sugar and flour into melted butter. Place rounded tablespoon pieces on ungreased cookie sheet 1 inch apart. Press marachino cherry pieces rounded side up (each cherry cut in half) on half of cookies. Place pecan halves on remainder. Cookies can be left plain and rolled in powdered sugar while slightly warm. Bake at 35
0 degrees 10-15 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
