Trial set for teen in high school explosion

May 14, 2009 (LOCKPORT, Ill.) The teenager was in Joliet juvenile court Thursday morning and remains in custody.

More than a dozen students were hurt Monday from the small explosion at Lockport Township High School's central campus.

The student allegedly used household chemicals and to set off a bomb on the second floor.

The boy reportedly confessed to planting the small explosive. His trial date is set for June 10.
