A judge has set a trial date for a 15-year-old boy accused of setting off a chemical device at his south suburban high school. The teenager was in Joliet juvenile court Thursday morning and remains in custody.

More than a dozen students were hurt Monday from the small explosion at Lockport Township High School's central campus.

The student allegedly used household chemicals and to set off a bomb on the second floor.

The boy reportedly confessed to planting the small explosive. His trial date is set for June 10.
