Italian Sausage Sandwich

Marinara:
  • 1 can San Marzano Tomato, purred
  • 2 cloves garlic, julienned
  • ½ yellow onion minced
  • 5 basil leaves, chiffoande
  • 3 tbsp. olive oil

    Caramelize the onion and garlic, and then add the purred tomatoes, and simmer for 20 minutes, then add the basil and simmer for 10 min. Season with salt and white pepper to taste.

  • 6 Italian Sausage Links
  • 6 6in. French rolls
  • Marinara
  • 3 red pepper
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • and cool for 30 min. then peel and julienne. Grill sausage and toast French rolls, and serve with marinara and grilled peppers.
