On the Metra Electric South Shore branch, trains experienced about a 20-minute delay. The train involved in the collision, #408, was only delayed briefly as well.

June 5, 2009 (CHICAGO) It happened at a railroad crossing at 90th and Baltimore. The fire department says one person was hurt in the accident, which impacted service on that line. There were no fatalities.
