Dennis Hastert's son plans to run for the congressional seat the senior Hastert held for 20 years.Dennis Hastert announced in August of 2007 that he was giving up his 14th district seat. His 31-year-old son, Ethan, now says that he would begin campaigning and fundraising. He is an attorney who grew up in yorkville, and has never held elected office. Democrat Bill Foster won the seat in the November general election.
