Toys R Us to launch trade-in program

September 10, 2009 Toys R Us will now accept used video games in exchange for a store gift card.

The store will also accept current games from the Wii, the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3.

Toy R Us will also take used video games for older gaming systems going back as far as Atari 2600 and Intellivision.

Toys R Us says it will not resell the used video games.

Game Stop, Best Buy and Amazon already offer video game trade-in programs.
