Accused police sergeant remains in jail

A Chicago police sergeant charged with embezzlement will remain in jail until Monday when a hearing will be held on whether the money he intends to post as bond comes from a legal source.John Pallohusky, 53, is president of the Chicago Police Sergeant's Association. He is accused of stealing more than $600, 000 from the organization.

Pallohusky also serves as financial secretary for the Police Benevolent and Protective Association of Illinois, which now plans to check its books to make sure they are in order.
