The negative association connected to 'marrying for money' is changing. It turns out, men who want to improve their bottom line should consider tying the knot.A new census analysis released by the Pew Research Center finds an increasing number of women are making more money than men.

About 20 percent of women earn more than their spouses. Their earnings have been increasing at a much faster rate than men's since the 1970s.

The study also finds more women than men between the ages of 30 and 44 have earned college degrees.
