Wheaton woman gets 50 years in father's murder

April 20, 2010 (CHICAGO)

Christy Lentz, 35, shot her father, Michael Lentz, twice in the back of his head in 2006.

Lentz sobbed during her sentencing hearing Tuesday. She testified to shooting her father out of fear for her life, but jurors believed the evidence didn't back her up.

Lombard worked for her father following her graduation from Wheaton North High School and claimed he was abusive.
