Two months ago, Calvin's owner left him at the Anti-Cruelty Society. Calvin was emaciated because of a problem with his pancreas- but enzymes added to his food twice a day helped him regain his health.
ABC7's Frank Mathie spent some time with Calvin on Tuesday, when he became available to adopt.
His condition means he'll cost about $100 more a month, but Calvin found a family who thinks he's worth it.
