After just more than a month working as a hostess at a pizza parlor, former Cicero town president Betty Loren-Maltese has called it quits.

The manager at Salerno's Pizza in Oak Park said Loren-Maltese decided on her own to leave the position and that they parted ways on good terms.

Loren-Maltese landed the job after moving back to Chicago from a Nevada prison to finish out her sentence on corruption charges.

There's no word on any future job prospects for Loren-Maltese, who has said that her main priority right now is to regain custody of her 14-year-old daughter.
