This week a Will County judge reduced Charles Clements' bail from $3 million to $750,000.
Clements' attorney filed a summary claiming 23-year-old Joshua Funches swore at Clements' wife and later returned with his dog, which he released into Clements' yard. Clements' attorney contends his client took the action as a taunt.
Prosecutors have contradicted Clements' story.
