$1 million bond in poker murder

June 7, 2010 (CHICAGO)

Bond was set at $1 million for Rosie Morris, 46, who appeared in court Monday morning. Morris turned herself in to police over the weekend. She is accused of shooting a 51-year-old Country Club Hills woman in the back during a card game in Chicago's Calumet Heights neighborhood.

Police say Morris was upset because she believed the victim, Patricia Clark, was cheating during the game. They said Morris shot Clark when Clark demanded she hand over $800 in winnings.

Clark died of her injuries on Saturday.
