On Saturday, anyone who signs up for T-mobile's family calling plan will receive a free phone.
Family plans must have at least two users. Current T-mobile customers users with a single-user plan can change to a family plan. Customers can get up to 5 free phones per plan.
The promotion runs just days before rival AT&T begins selling the new iPhone.
