The research from the American Academy of Neurology shows that MS symptoms do tend to change and become more aggressive in the spring and summer months.
In the small study, researchers compared the MRI brain scans of 44 people with untreated MS. More lesions, which are inflamed areas of the central nervous system, were found in the participants when the weather got warmer.
Researchers are hoping the findings will help with future studies.
