Maldonado suffers from schizophrenia. He was last seen with a thick mustache wearing black and white basketball shorts and a light blue shirt with the word "stars" written on it.

September 14, 2010 (CHICAGO) Jose Maldonado, 24, vanished from the 6800-block of South Wood Sunday.
Police say he frequents the area of 55th and Carpenter.
