The west end of the Edens Spur on I-94 is set to reopen two lanes in each direction between the Tri-State Tollway and the Waukegan Road interchange this weekend-- nearly two weeks ahead of schedule.
The Edens Spur project includes repairing and resurfacing five miles of mainline pavement and rehabilitating bridge structures. The plan is to finish the remaining work by the end of this year.
