Chicago police served a search warrant on the home late Sunday night in the 7400-block of South Lafayette. Officers said they found live pot plants and marijuana already packaged.
As of 3 a.m., officers were still on the scene searching the home and vans used to transport inmates were called to the scene to transport the plants, police said.
There was no word yet on any arrests or charges.
