An effort was under way to help Chicago-area residents find jobs over the weekend.

The RainbowPUSH Coalition hosted a job rally at its headquarters Saturday. Rev. Jesse Jackson and Congressman Jesse Jackson, Jr. were hoping to collect 15,000 resumes. They said they planned to categorize them and then deliver them to Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn.

Reverend Jackson also said they planned to create a job bank so those seeking employment can be matched up with potential employers.
