United Airlines is including its hometown of Chicago in travel waivers for Tuesday because of a storm on the East Coast.

Airlines are working to avoid a repeat of Christmas week when a blizzard left stranded passengers sleeping in airport terminals.

United, Delta, American and JetBlue say they will let customers rebook for free if they are booked for travel to or from East Coast airports from Charlotte, North Carolina to Boston, Massachusetts.

Monday nigh aviation officials say bad weather in the Atlanta area is causing minor delays and cancellations at both O'Hare and Midway airports.
