Illinois redistricting under way

Speaker Michael Madigan announced a house panel has been formed to put together a map of new legislative boundaries in the state of Illinois.

Redistricting is done every 10 years after new census information becomes available. Democrats control both the house and state senate, which has already started its remap work.
