Woman allegedly injures 2 officers while in custody

A woman in jail on drug charges faces additional charges after allegedly shoving a Chicago police woman down the stairs.

Police arrested 26-year-old Sara Dedek after they say they spotted her shooting up heroin near 14th and Emerald.

While at the Monroe District police station, Dedek, who weighs 110 pounds and stands 5' 4", allegedly shoved a police woman down the stairs, breaking her ankle. She also allegedly injured another officer who was trying to stop Dedek from escaping.

The mother of two is now being held at Cook County Jail on $150,000 bail.
